Terms of use
Plain-language terms for using Kindling. By using the site or the game, you agree to them.

Who we are
Kindling (“we”, “us”) is run by Zong Jiawen, Singapore. You can reach us at kindling.cards@gmail.com.
Adults only (21+)
Kindling is for adults. You may only use it if you are 21 or older (or older still, if the law where you live sets a higher age), and only play it with another adult who has agreed to play. Some levels include sexual themes, written to be suggestive rather than graphic.
Free to use
Kindling is free. You don’t need an account and there’s nothing to buy. We may change, add or remove cards and features, or pause the service, at any time. You may play it for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy the cards to publish or sell them elsewhere.
Donations
Tips and monthly support are voluntary gifts. They don’t buy goods, services or extra content, and they don’t create any obligation for us. Payments are handled by the donation platform you choose, under its own terms. If you made a donation by mistake, ask that platform for a refund, or contact us and we’ll help where we can.
Advertising and sponsors
The homepage and some article pages show ads or a sponsor. We label them as such and never place ads inside the game. Ads and sponsored links lead to other companies’ sites, which have their own terms and privacy policies. We aren’t responsible for their content, products or services.
Content notice
Levels 1 to 4 are conversation and light, playful dares. Levels 5 to 7 involve touch, desire and sexual themes. You choose which levels to play, both of you must agree before moving up, and you can switch off topics or stop at any point.
Not therapy or advice
Kindling is a game for entertainment. It isn’t therapy, counseling, relationship, sexual health or medical advice, and it’s no substitute for a qualified professional. If you need support, see our safety page.
Consent and your own judgement
Every card is an invitation, never an instruction. Only do what you both freely want to do, at that moment. Either player can pass any card or stop at any time, and that choice must be respected. Don’t play the later levels if either of you is too drunk or high to mean a yes.
You take part at your own risk. Use common sense about your health, your surroundings, and anything physical, and don’t do anything that could hurt either of you or break the law.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Kindling running well, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for your particular relationship.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for anything that happens between players while using Kindling. Our total liability to you for anything related to Kindling is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is usually nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Kindling after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Singapore, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
